The Polish TV operator Cyfra Plus has announced it will be adding a dedicated 3D channel to its existing line up.
The operator has been committed to airing 3D content since 2010. In a similar fashion to Sky 3D, Canal Plus organised a live 3D broadcast of a football game in selected pubs and cinemas for supporters in Krakow, Poznan and Warsaw on May 15th 2010. Since then Canal Plus has broadcast 3D films such as Coraline, Ocean Adventure 3D, Saw 3D and Step Up 3D.
The dedicated 3D channel is due to launch in November with additional sports events and at least two new 3D movies a month.
