4th 3D Entertainment Summit Starts Soon

The biggest 3D content conference is just a few weeks away. From September 20^th – September 22^nd, the 3D Entertainment Summit in LA will host three days of talks and case studies by some of the most high profile 3D experts in the industry.

This year, keynote speakers include James Cameron and Vince Pace from CAMERON | PACE Group (read the exclusive 3D Focus interview with Vince Pace here), Tom Rothman from Fox Filmed Entertainment, Michael V Lewis – Co-Founder of RealD, Mick Hocking - Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Group and over 60 more speakers.

For 2011 there have been several changes. Due to its growth, the 3D Entertainment Summit has been moved to the Hollywood & Highland Center. There will be an increased emphasis on screening new exclusive 3D content and for the first time, the 3D Gaming Summit will be hosted back to back with the 3D Entertainment Summit. Insight Media has just announced that it will host multiple sessions of its popular Technical/Production Series to run in parallel with the event which are designed to teach the basics of 3D technical production. The exhibit area has been expanded too which will feature technology, equipment and mobile solutions for attendees to view the latest in 3D and mobile technology.
