Ravensbourne University College is bringing back its hugely popular 3D Storytelling event in March next year due to demand from the industry.
The first 3D Storytelling event took place in January this year and was regarded by many as the best 3D conference to be staged (as also thought by 3D Focus). Most of the leading S3D experts, companies and producers attended, holding lectures, practical demos, screenings, debates and workshops in the new futuristic Ravensbourne University building right next to the O2 in London.
3D Storytelling 2012 will return with two days of seminars, panels and hands-on workshops run by industry leaders, including Chris Parks and Adam Sculthorp, with other leading companies such as Inition, SGO and Vision 3.
There will also be a greater emphasis on 3D gaming and 3D research this year but it will still be very much focussed on production.
Adam Sculthorp, Creative Director / Stereographer, DIMENSIONmedia said “Last year’s 3D Storytelling conference held at Ravensbourne was probably the single most useful networking event held in the past 12 months. The diverse range of attendees, from major production companies, producers, directors, DoP and Broadcasters to small independents and other interested parties proved that the UK is leading the way with Stereoscopic 3D production. Dimension Media is thrilled that Ravensbourne will be repeating the event in 2012.”
