The production of a modern 3D twist of Dicken's classic Oliver Twist, looks set to go ahead as Red Bull Media sign up to produce the parkour based film.
The film was originally due to have started production in March with its writer, Matthew Parkhill, directing the film. He has been replaced by Donkey Punch director Olly Blackburn who will work with Pure Grass Films, the film’s production company.
The 3D crime thriller will centre around a gang who use parkour to avoid capture as they steal art.
According to Variety, Pure Grass received an undisclosed investment from Moscow-based financier Christophe Charlier, a co-founder of music and sports company Le Castle Film Works. Le Castle will receive a co-producer credit on "Twist."
Twist 3D will be distributed by The Salt Co. 3D Focus will be interviewing director Olly Blackburn very soon.
