Corporate gift supplier Leighmans.com has released an updated 3D catalogue complete with 3D glasses as well as an online interactive 360 degree tool for gift personalisation.
The North West UK based company is celebrating its tenth anniversary and used the occasion to increase engagement, publicity and most importantly orders with 3D visualisation.
The catalogue has been updated to include a special 3D section featuring red/cyan anaglyph product images. The gifts that are in the 3D section are those that best benefit from being showcased in three dimensions – for example, those that are more intricate. This includes specially engraved paperweights. The catalogue arrives with red/cyan glasses to ‘bring the products to life’ and hopefully provide a better idea of how the product will look once it arrives in the home.

Leighmans has also introduced an interactive 3D tool called the 3D visualiser to aid personalisation. For example, if someone is interested in purchasing a mug embossed with a personal image, they can upload a picture to a model of a virtual mug and rotate the rendering in real time before they decide to buy.
