SENSIO 3DGO! customers will be able to rent Piranha 3DD on demand this autumn

The deal with Starz Digital Media, who produce the hit show Spartacus Vengeance, will see movies like Piranha 3DD and Bait 3D added to a range of documentaries and exclusive live events for consumers whose 3DTVs support SENSIO(R) Hi-Fi 3D technology via the 3DGO! streaming service.

SENSIO H-Fi 3D technology is a frame compatible format that is able to offer high-fidelity stereo 3D images over a 2D channel. The 3DGO! will launch in Autumn for connected TV’s in the US first, delayed from an original spring launch.

"With select 3D titles from The Weinstein Company and Anchor Bay Films now secured and under license for rental, we are more determined than ever to realise our promise to address the lack of 3D content on the market and to support our SENSIO(R) Hi-Fi 3D customers with the best library of 3D content in the market. We are really looking forward to the next few months, as other content providers will join us in this effort to give consumers instant and easy access to the largest variety of high-quality 3D content."

Earlier this year, SENSIO announced a deal with French music production specialist S é quence SDP to screen live 3D concerts across Sensio’s network of around 900 theatres worldwide which will be made available for the 3DGO! app.
